Realistic Skincare
As a professional, I cannot tell you how tired I am of celebrity skincare lines, endorsements, and brand deals dominating the skincare industry.
These companies have the budget small business’s will never have, and that mean’s their reach is so much wider. In one way, at least more people care about their skin, but the problem is the people they are supporting don’t. It’ important to remember that the majority of content that exists in this industry has one motive: to sell you something.
They do not have your best interest at heart, they do not truly care about you or your skin’s health, and they think you’re an easy sell.
I also can’t tell you the 1000’s of times I have seen an individual’s skincare routine based off of the media they consume. They spend so much more, for so much less of a result, because someone who doesn’t have their best interest sold them on something. When you work with a real professional who has your best interest at heart, you won’t spend a fraction of what you have been.
People don’t realize how much they are spending on impulse buys. If they spent half as much as they spent on one of these falsified ads with real professionals, they would save more than 50% and get results. Not to mention, you’re supporting your local community which is usually female owned and operated.
Who doesn’t want to spend 50% less, for over 200% more of a result?
My advice…find a local professional with experience in their field, and pay them a visit. You have no idea how much $ you are wasting, and how little of a result you are receiving. Support a local skincare business that has the experience, education and motive to give you a result that actually lasts, and who actually cares about you and your before and after.
